On October 10, 2003 The Dallas Morning News reported on Soheila Zandi of Mansfield, a member of the Bahá'í faith who "organizes monthly neighborhood 'devotional gatherings' at her home in Mansfield as well as in others' homes in Fort Worth, Southlake, Colleyville and Lewisville. For the gatherings, Ms. Zandi invites people of all ages and faith traditions for a time of reflection on a theme, such as faith, hope and happiness." Ms. Zandi said that Bahá'ís view the gatherings as a method of community service. "There's tremendous power in bringing people together," she said. "It calms our hearts and our minds."
