After decades visiting hospices around the world, Rabbi Earl Grollman said the question terminally ill patients ask most often is "Why me?"
"It's more than a question. It's a cry of pain," said the rabbi emeritus of Temple Beth El in Belmont. "They want to know 'How could God do this to me?"'
