Tahamina Prity

Tahamina (Taha) Prity (she/her) is an undergraduate student at Harvard College, concentrating in the Comparative Study of Religion. A rising junior, she has a particular interest in Islamic studies, with an emphasis on Islam in the modern West. Beyond her academic work, Taha is passionate about Islamic art and the insights it offers into how people lived in the past. She is especially interested in the ways Islam has been transformed—and has transformed the lives of people—in places such as the United States, and she hopes to pursue this further in graduate school.
