Laura Mucha
Laura is a first-year Master of Theological studies student at Harvard Divinity School concentrating in Women, Gender, Sexuality, and Religion. She is particularly focused on female participation in Christian religious practice, both in the contemporary megachurch movement and the early modern Church. Laura graduated from Colgate University in May 2020, where she studied English, Religion, and the Classics. At HDS, Laura plans to center her research at the nexus of contemporary American evangelism and the politicization of the American family unit. The Pluralism Project’s case initiative informed Laura’s work on legal pluralism and the First Amendment as an undergraduate, and she looks forward to bolstering the Project’s reach as an accessible and inclusive resource on religious diversity.
