A colourful display of singing, dancing and fireworks was enjoyed by Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists at the county's biggest Diwali celebration.

About 200 people crowded into the Swansgate Centre in Wellingborough yesterday to see the Diwali lights switched on in the Market Square and Market Street.
