On May 7, 2004 The Journal Enquirer reported, "In the two decades since Faith McCann moved to Manchester, she's followed a traditional path to community service, volunteering with the Historical Society, serving on the Republican Town Committee, and teaching martial arts at a local studio. Now, though, it's time to mix things up. McCann, 40, is the self proclaimed 'witch proprietress' of a new business, Enchantments, at the corner of East Center and Pitkin streets in Manchester... McCann practices Wicca, a pagan religion that takes its teachings from nature and finds inspiration in the movements of the sun, moon, stars, and cycles of the seasons.... For the last several years she's taught witchcraft at Manchester Community College and plans to offer the same type of classes - potion making, for instance - at the store."
