On June 11, 2005 The Toledo Blade reported, "one home is finished and a second is well on its way as volunteers from two multifaith groups help build houses for the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity. Dedication services are scheduled for 1 and 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, with a potluck block party at 3:30 p.m., at 1030 Gribbin Lane in West Toledo. It is the 100th house built in Toledo by the local branch of Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit Christian housing organization whose goal is to provide affordable homes for the needy. Workers from at least 10 faith groups contributed to the Gribbin Lane construction, according to Woody Trautman of the MultiFaith Council of Northwest Ohio, organizers of the build."
