On June 20, 2003 Idaho Statesman reported that "two Tibetan Buddhist Lamas are coming to Boise. Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Wangduk and, on a return visit, Tulku Thubten Rinpoche... Wangduk will be giving seven lectures from Friday to June 25 at two locations: Freedom House, 3450 Hill Road, and at the Boise State University Student Union Building, Jordan Ballroom B. Wangduk is of the Gelugpa lineage, and philosophy will be the heart of his presentations."
