Hindu Cultural Center (HCC) of Park Ridge, one of the oldest ethnic Indian organizations in Chicago land, has drawn up an ambitious program for the benefit of its members and community at large. It held a fund raiser at Hindu Temple in Lemont (a Chicago suburb) recently to raise funds for funding this program. The three hour fundraiser event was a great success judging from the over 500 community members turning up to show their support for the Center.

They were treated to a grand variety entertainment program from talented local artists followed by a sumptuous dinner. Bhnawar Joshi, a member of the Director Board, welcomed the guests while Bansi Sharma, president briefed those attending about the activities of the Center. Sohan Joshi, a former president of FIA and active member of the Center, exhorted those attending the event to contribute generously so that the center could achieve goals that it has set. Bhanwar Joshi said that the Center plans to conduct Yoga classes starting with Laughing Yoga.
