Hundreds of Sikhs have taken part in a protest in the Indian capital against a French law banning obvious religious signs in schools.
Aimed at Islamic head coverings, the law passed in 2004 also forced Sikh students to remove turbans or be expelled.
France which has Europe's biggest Muslim population is one of the few countries to have passed legislation banning visible religious symbols in public schools, especially the Muslim headscarf.
