The Sikh population of Queensborough are preparing for the Olympic torches arrival.
Today every Sikh in the country will celebrate and put all their differences to one side.
For today they will ‘park’ their passion to ensure their Holy Kirpan will be allowed into the stadiums.
A Sikh has been selected as one of the torch bearers. Jarnail Sahota was the first turbanned Sikh to carry the Olympic torch in Canada when he hoists the flame on Feb. 6 in Ashcroft.
