The secretary of state at the Government Office for London and mayor of London Ken Livingstone have given the green light for a Sikh primary school in Southall.

Sharnbir Singh Sangha, a project coordinator, Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall Norwood Hall (Southall ), said the mayor’s decision would pave way for starting the restoration of the hall, apart from developing the school and restoring the 7-and-a-half acre site overlooking Norwood Green for the benefit of the community.
