YUBA CITY, CA, October 29, 2007 – The 28th annual worldwide gathering of Sikhs in Yuba City begins this week with an estimated 75,000 Sikhs and non-Sikh Sacramento Valley residents expected to attend a weekend of cultural celebration and devotion. The Sikh community welcomes and encourages everyone from all faiths and backgrounds to attend and enjoy the festivities. The Sikh Parade will provide an economic spark to the Yuba – Sutter economy through the spending of at estimated $20 million this week.
