On April 13, 2003 KCBS reported that "as part of an ongoing effort to celebrate California's diverse population, a new coloring book has been released to help public schools teach kids about the Sikh community... California Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante tells KCBS many Sikhs have been attacked and Sikh children bullied because their religion requires them to wear turbans."
