On May 14, 2005 Interfax reported, "A 'representative Russian delegation' is to take part in a conference to be held in Cordoba, Spain, on June 8-9 by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday. 'It is expected that this will become not only one of the central events under the auspices of that organization but also a noticeable event of European politics as manifestations of racial and religious intolerance take place throughout the OSCE space. It is planned that a representative Russian delegation will take part in the Conference,' the ministry said in a release published on its website."
