ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A mosque in Rochester has been vandalized for the third time this year, and the FBi is now investigating the incidents.
Leaders of the mosque (Masjid Sabiqun) say someone scrawled racial slurs across the entrance to the building over the weekend.
Imam Yusuf Sharif (YOO'-suhf shuh-REEF') says it's the third time in three months that his mosque has been targeted by vandals.
The FBI's Rochester office is investigating the incidents as a potential hate crime.
The imam says they plan to beef up security at the mosque.
