Interfaith leaders are praising President Obama for trying to jump-start the Middle East peace process. As Obama met with Israel’s new prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, at the White House Monday (May 18), a coalition of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish leaders released a statement calling for new efforts to revive stalled peace talks.
