On June 3, 2005 BBC News reported, "An official investigation has been ordered into the recent murders of two Christian missionaries in southern India, officials said. Two preachers, K Issac Raju and K Daniel, were found dead within days of going missing in Hyderabad, capital of Andhra Pradesh state. Attacks against Christian missionaries in India are not uncommon. In 1999, an Australian missionary, Graham Staines and his two sons were burnt to death by a mob. Right-wing Hindus often complain that Hindus are pressured to convert to Christianity by missionaries."
