Miami-Dade Transit is pulling advertisements that Muslims said were offensive to Islam.
The ads were set to run on 10 buses Friday. They said, "Fatwa on your head? Is your community or family threatening you?" and directed people to a Web site encouraging them to leave Islam.
The New York-based group Stop the Islamization of America bought the ads for one month. The group's leader says the ads were "offered in defense of religious liberty."
