Members of the Hindu community in Burley will soon have a regular opportunity to raise issues with members of their local neighbourhood policing team.
Officers from the North West Inner Neighbourhood Policing Team are looking to establish a regular NPT surgery at the Shree Hindu Temple, in Alexandra Road.
Members of the team recently attended a religious festival at the temple as part of their ongoing work to build stronger links with different communities across the area.
The event was attended by around 300 people, many of whom took the opportunity to speak to the officers and discuss what the police and community can do about a range of issues from hate crime to drugs.
