On June 1, 2003 The Associated Press reported that "Celebrations were scheduled all weekend for a new Buddhist temple in Albuquerque [NM]... The temple's completion fulfills the dream of The Venerable Charern Suksaeng, abbot of four monks of the Hinayana branch of Buddhism who moved to Albuquerque about a decade ago."
