On November 11, 2004 Independent Press Association reported, "in the spirit of the holiday Ramadan, members of a Queens Shia Muslim youth group recently volunteered for a day at a Jewish food pantry in Flushing. Sixteen members from the Al-Husseini Madressa, a community center in Woodside, helped pack kosher food for the food pantry at Krhilat Sepharadim of Ahavat Achim."
