Fifteen young people from across the region have been chosen to take part in Leicester's first multi-faith leadership residential programme.
The young men and women, between the ages of 16 and 25, were selected for their dedication to community service and passion for global causes. They include representatives from five religions - Hindu, Christian, Islam, Buddhism and Sikh - while one delegate professes a "belief in science".
The leadership programme has been put together by Bilal Hassam and Michael Tweed, Faiths Act fellows for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, working with Raheema Caratella from St Philip's Centre. The aim is to inspire and empower young leaders across the different communities in Leicester.
