On September 19, 2004 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported, "in what could be one of the largest interdenominational rallies ever in downtown Milwaukee, more than 6,000 people will gather Saturday at the U.S. Cellular Arena to hold a candid conversation with state and federal politicians on a variety of social issues... Rolling Thunder, the Gamaliel Foundation's national campaign to engage politicians and voters, will involve more than 125 congregations from all over Wisconsin at its 2 p.m. meeting, the rally's sponsors say. Milwaukee's Rolling Thunder rally is being sponsored by Wisdom, a coalition of congregations in southeastern Wisconsin that includes faith-based groups such as the Milwaukee Innercity Congregations Allied for Hope."
