On August 14, 2004 The Houston Chronicle reported, "Two Spring men have been arrested and charged in the July Fourth bombing of a mailbox at a Spring mosque. Jody David Ferguson, 31, and Arthur Menno Mann IV, 30, both of the 9500 block of Dundalk, are charged with possession of an illegal weapon, a third-degree felony. Both men were arrested and charged last month. Both have been released on $5,000 bail each. A local judge has ordered the men to stay away from Champions Masjid and any other mosque. Ferguson and Mann are to appear in the 248th District Court on Tuesday. Authorities said the men used a "dry ice bomb" to destroy the mailbox at the mosque. No one was injured."
