On November 15, 2004 Lincoln Journal Star reported, "about 25 teenagers, gathered Sunday at the Bryan Medical Plaza Conference Center at Bryan LGH Medical Center East, talked about bringing their own diversity together... The Interfaith Youth Conference was the first time the Lincoln Interfaith Council had organized an event for youths of different religious backgrounds to meet, said Rabbi Stanley Rosenbaum, chairman of the council's Education Committee. Part of the goal of the day's discussions was to give the teens a better understanding of their beliefs and how they compare to other religions, Rosenbaum said."
