A defunct Islamic charity has gone back to court to ask a federal judge to reconsider his dismissal of its challenge to warrantless wiretapping by the Bush administration.

The judge dismissed the lawsuit by the Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation this month, but said attorneys could file an amended complaint if they can prove they fall under a legal category called "aggrieved persons."

In federal court for the Northern District of California, the charity's Oregon chapter said Tuesday that two of its attorneys suffered irreparable damage to their ability to represent their clients.
