On November 17, 2001 The Express-News reported on a San Antonio Thanksgiving service: "Prayers, hymns and scriptural readings from around the world will grace San Fernando Cathedral's 10th annual interfaith Thanksgiving Day service." The service will include Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Native American, Hindu, and Baha'i participants and will benefit a shelter funded by a group of local churches and synagogues.
