Following a dramatic attack on a Caracas synagogue and amid rising anti-Semitism in Venezuela, several groups within South Florida's religious community will hold an interfaith rally Thursday night to support Venezuelan Jews.

''It's important for us here in the community, both Jewish or non-Jewish, to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Venezuela,'' said Carol Brick-Turin, director of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Jewish Community Council. ``It's increasingly a less secure and safe environment for the Jews in Venezuela.''
