Before a packed audience of people from a wide range of ethnic and religious backgrounds, a prominent array of the city's leaders in the religious, ethnic, student, and law enforcement arenas remembered the 3,000 victims of the World Trade Center attacks and committed themselves to passionately defending American values of religious freedom and equal rights for all.
