Members of Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls joined their Muslim colleagues Monday afternoon to denounce a movie that they said equates Islam and terrorism.

The movie, "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against The West," was released in 2006, but last month the film's distributor, the Clarion Fund, sent a DVD of the film to 28 million people via 70 American newspapers and by direct mail, primarily in states crucial to next week's presidential election.

The Post-Dispatch was one of a handful of newspapers nationwide that refused to distribute the DVD.

Rabbis, pastors, bishops and lay people representing local religious organizations spoke together at Daar-ul-lsam mosque saying the movie "foments hatred," and is "full of lies, "poisonous," "rubbish," "bigotry" and "religion bashing."
