Sharing a meal and conversation with Muslims during their holy month at a Christian church and hosting Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless are just a few ways Greenbelt Interfaith Leadership Association has helped groups of different faiths unite.

GILA has worked since 1975 to join various denominations in the community to encourage people to be more accepting and understanding of different religions. Faiths represented by GILA members are Islam, Baha’i faith, Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism.
