Organizers of a festival Sunday said they can't remember an event that showcased Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Baptists, Catholics and other faiths working together for one cause.
Organized by the Brevard Interfaith Coalition and sponsored by the Brevard County Department of Housing and Human Services and the United Way of Brevard, the first-ever "FestivALL of Faiths" will offer entertainment, information and opportunities.
Different faiths and churches will have booths set up alongside social and county agencies offering their services for people affected by the poor economy.
"So many different faith groups have not come together before at the same time to show their faith and what they can do for the community," said Linda Wiggins, coordinator for the Brevard Interfaith Coalition. "Where else can you have so many different faiths in one room?"
