On September 27, 2005 the Dayton Daily News reported, "Gary Percesepe, coordinating director of the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America, ...is helping to organize the 10th anniversary celebration surrounding the Dayton Peace Accords. Percesepe, a Springfield resident, also heads the Interfaith Planning Committee of Dayton: A Peace Process, the volunteer agency putting together the series of anniversary events here. The celebration was launched Monday with an interfaith prayer breakfast that drew 125 people from nearly every faith tradition in the Miami Valley to Sinclair Community College. 'There were Muslims, Jewish people, Christians of every kind — Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Methodists, Presbyterians — Native Americans, those from the Baha'i Faith and Buddhists,' Percesepe said. 'I'm seeing this city coming together. Dayton can be known for a lot of things. But wouldn't it be interesting if we could make a commitment to being known for peace?' The agreement, signed at the Hope Hotel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Nov. 21, 1995, which ended the ethnic and religious war in Bosnia, will be commemorated as well by an interfaith worship service on Nov. 13 featuring civil rights leader C.T. Vivian."
