Christians and Muslims are getting to know each other a little better through an interfaith dialogue that started in June.
“Khamis Siam and I have been discussing this possibility for at least four years,” said Charles Peterson, a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). “Finally we set a date, and met on June 29 at our church.”
The informal group had a second meeting Sunday night at the local mosque, which currently serves about five Muslim families.
