A Muslim volleyball player in Nashville who was once disqualified from a game for wearing a hijab is now making history, sparking a rule change not only in her state, but on a national level as well.
Najah Aqeel's case changed a long-standing rule in Tennessee that's since been amended, ensuring athletes can wear religious headwear freely without seeking permission.
