On August 31, 2005 Asian News International reported, "Members of Britain's Hindu community are holding a three-day convention in London to promote the values and faith of Hinduism. The event includes educational, recreational, and social activities for all ages, and teaches the essentials of living a moral, spiritual and cultural life through Hindu principles. Around 400 members of Britain's Hindu community were at the Shree Swaminaryan temple in Golders Green for the event. The Jeevan Ghadtar Satsang Shibir literally means life, improvement, community and camp. It aims to bring Hindus of all ages as one cohesive group."
