The Muslim Maulvi and the Hindu Pandit sat side by side to solemnize the wedding of a Muslim couple and a Hindu couple under the same roof.
This unique event took place in Dalel Purwa locality in Kanpur on Sunday - the 17th anniversary of Babri - and showcased communal harmony at its best.
While Maulana Abid Rizvi solemnised the marriage of Dilawar Hussain with Tarrannum Fatima as per the Muslim tradition, Pandit Sanjay Trivedi chanted mantras as Akash took
the seven rounds around the holy fire with Pinki.
