A former Marion County teacher is suing the school board, claiming he suffered religious discrimination based on his Quaker faith.
A lawsuit filed last month claims 55-year-old Ronald Wray was effectively forced to resign from his construction teaching position at Marion Technical Institute. He says he was subjected to derogatory comments about his black clothing and other threats.
The lawsuit says the harassment began in 2006 and lasted until Wray resigned the following year.
