The FBI plans to investigate the painting of anti-Semitic graffiti at a synagogue in Parkland.
"We're going to open a case," and work with the Broward County Sheriff's Office, FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela said today.
Orihuela said it was standard practice for the FBI to investigate "whenever any kind of vandalism happens at any religious" center.
Earlier Thursday, U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler wrote a letter to FBI Director Robert S. Mueller calling for the FBI's involvement.
