On October 20, 2004 the National Council of Churches Press Release reported that, "senior religious leaders from across the country are coming together on Wednesday, October 20th to launch a faith-based 'Get Out the Vote' effort that uses an innovative new web-based technology. Thousands of volunteers are being recruited through faith networks. These volunteers have begun to reach out to newly registered, minority and low-income voters. Centrally coordinated under the banner 'Vote ALL Your Values,' volunteers are registering at www.voteALLyourvalues.org. The launch will take place at a news conference on Wednesday, October 20, hosted by Progressive Faith Media and held at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City."
