On November 21, 2003 Religion and Ethics NewsWeekly reported on the popular display of relics and physical remains of the Buddha and other great Buddhist teachers that is currently on a seven year world tour. According to Victoria Stewart, a spokeswoman for the tour, "The purpose of the Heart Shrine Relic Tour is to bring people into their heart. So by coming into contact with the relics, we are inspired to feel the quality of lovingkindness. Even people who aren't Buddhists, they cry or they have moving experiences or they have a vision. Regardless of any labels of 'Buddhism' or 'Buddha,' people are responding all over."
