His Majesty King Hamad yesterday described Bahrain as a peace-loving nation and a model of co-existence, religious tolerance and love.
He was speaking as he received members of the Bahraini Jewish community in the UK, who congratulated him on the graduation of his son Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy.
He discussed with them issues relating to Bahrain's internal affairs, wishing them success to serve Bahrain and its people's interests.
The King vowed to continue his efforts towards modernisation and prosperity. "Such a drive would benefit people, consolidate Bahrain's development and further cement national unity," he said.
