On November 10, 2004 Independent Press Association reported, "an overwhelming majority of American Muslims and Pakistanis were very vocal in their opposition to Bush at all of their community functions. Now that the election results are in, the most often asked question is whether George Bush will continue during his second term what these communities consider discriminatory and abusive policies towards the American Muslim community – especially after knowing that the community opposed him in the election. Many fear that Bush could decide to teach the Muslim community a lesson for voting against him in election 2004."
