On October 10, 2002 The Houston Chronicle reported that "[Abraham] Foxman, [national director of the Anti-Defamation League], has focused on discrediting the 'big lie' - that Jews knew of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks beforehand and somehow stood to gain by inciting a war between the United States and Arab countries. He brings that message to Houston today in the keynote address of the ADL's three-day National Commission Meeting."
