## Centers & Organizations

For more than thirty years, we have studied the growth and development of interfaith initiatives in the United States. While the term "interfaith" is not without limitations—as is “multifaith” or “interreligious”—here, it is intended to describe the purposeful interaction across diverse faiths and ethical traditions, providing the context for pluralism. Many of these efforts are local, whether born out of crisis, context, or civic purpose; some focus on dialogue, activism, or education. They are part of an emerging interfaith infrastructure.
