All age groups worship at the center. There are more men than women. Arabic and English are spoken at the mosque. The ethnic population is mostly African-American, but occasionally some Arabs show up for service. There are Arabic language classes taught on certain days every week.
There are three rooms in the building. On one side of the building there is a room for woman to place their shoes, and on the other side a room for men to put their shoes. The two rooms for the men and women on the opposite sides lead to a larger main room where services take place. The center was first a doctor’s office, then a doctor’s office and a mosque. Later it was a mosque and school, but the school closed down six years ago due to lack of funding.
