The weekly schedule is as follows:
Monday, Five prayers a day
Tuesday, Fajr 4:12 A.M., Zuhr, 1:28 P.M., Asr 5:30 P.M.,
Wednesday, Fajr 4:12 A.M., Zuhr 1:28 P.M., Maghrib 9:03 P.M., Bshaa 10:42 P.M.
Thursday, Fajr 4:12 A.M., Zuhr 1:28 P.M.
Friday, Juma Prayer 1:00 P.M. and all prayers (Zuhr and Juma at the same time)
Saturday, All five prayers
Sunday, Talim study session, 11 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
The group celebrates several holidays including, Eid ul Fitr and Eid uladha. They hold fundraisers, participate in the International Food Festival and Dana Walk. On Friday a Talim education session for children is held at 7:00 P.M. and on Sunday a children’s Talim is held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Every third Saturday is a potluck dinner and every other Sunday is a ladies’ session. On the first Sunday of the month a business meeting is held.
The original group started as the Juma Prayer Group at the YWCA with 10 members. Six members from this group started the Association. The major challenge the group faced was funding because of such a small group size.
The original building was a warehouse and members transformed it into the Masjid.
