Activities and Schedule

Firesides:
These informal discussions about the Baha’i Faith are held in private homes on Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

Community potluck dinners:
Pot luck dinners are open to Baha’i and non Baha’i alike. They are a time to eat and socialize. The dinners are held every fourth Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Children’s Classes:
Class meets every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to about 10:00 a.m. Children are taught how they can convey the message of Baha’u’llah. They are encouraged to memorize different prayers and holy writings of Baha’u’llah and Abdu’l-Baha, while learning methods of interacting among their peers. Each week a 20-minute lesson is given, followed by an art project related to the lesson, and snacks. Baha’i Both and non-Baha’i children are welcomed to come.

Website

Winning the 2002 Community Website Excellence Award, the Baha’is of Greatfalls’ website is very extensive and easy to navigate. The website covers topics from the principles, pillars of the faith, and Houses of Worship to a schedule of the assembly’s activities and a description of the Baha’i calendar. Several sacred prayers are available as well as links to further information about the Baha’i Faith. A Children’s Page is included with educational activities for children, information about classes, the World Citizen Pledge, and pictures and audio files of the children themselves.
