Pluralism Project Hosts Joint Reception at 2014 AAR Annual Meeting in San Diego

The Pluralism Project and the KAICIID Dialogue Centre co-hosted a reception at the 2014 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Religion in San Diego. Over 75 scholars, educators, graduate students, and community members gathered to learn more about both the Pluralism Project and the KAICIID Dialogue Centre as well as to share professional updates.

Assistant Director Whittney Barth “Visits” With Class at Hendrix College

Assistant Director Whittney Barth met with Professor Jay McDaniel’s undergraduate religion class at Hendrix College via Skype to discuss the work of the Pluralism Project. Professor McDaniel and his students are exploring the religious diversity of Arkansas this semester, including field research in Little Rock.

Pluralism Project Hosts “Multi-Faith Spaces as Symptoms and Agents of Change”

On September 6, 2011 the Pluralism Project hosted a panel at Harvard University featuring Dr. Ralf Brand and his research team from the University of Manchester’s Architecture Research Centre. Their project is entitled: Multi-Faith Spaces: Symptoms and Agents of Religious and Social Change. The panel took place as part of a series of events and visits to multi-faith spaces in Greater Boston and New York City.

StoryCorps in Boston

The Pluralism Project has partnered with StoryCorps, the “national project to instruct and inspire people to record each others’ stories in sound,” to include stories from diverse faith traditions in Boston.
